Our Chef

Our six course set-menu was created by our executive consultant chef Hossam Abdel, current assistant sous chef of Izakaya, the award winning restaurant at JW Marriot Dubai. Chef Hossam’s prior experience at leading Japanese and Panasian restaurants such as Kyoto at Oberoi Hotels and Shogun of Intercontinental city stars has inspired our carefully selected tasting menu, aiming to provide guests the opportunity to sample a combination of Japanese finest dishes and some of the Chef’s very favorite Asian flavours.

At Arun guests may choose to sit right at the Teppanyaki bar and experience a lively chef performance or relax at our seating area right above and enjoy a mind blowing view of the bay. From the traditional Japanese Miso soup to Thai Mango in coconut sticky-rice dessert, Arun promises a culinary adventure, a refreshing change from our equally tasteful Greek/Meditteranean cuisine served in our other restaurants.
